Ⅰ、Brief Introduction

Henan University of Economics and Law (HUFL) is a provincial full-time public university, a featured university supported by Henan Province authority, and a key project-setting and construction unit for granting Doctor's degree in Henan Province. Founded in 1948 ,the university has three campuses, covering an area of 1.4 square kilometers and a total construction area of more than 1.1 million square meters. There are more than 2,000 faculty and nearly 30,000 full-time students. The university has three key disciplines such as Economics, Management and Law, and also includes Literature,Science,Engineering, Art, Philosophy and other disciplines.

At present, there are 65 undergraduate programs and 15 master's degree authorization programs. Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, International Economy and Trade are national-level specialties.

The university has various teaching laboratories and a library with nearly 10 million books,and also possesses a modern gymnasium, a large supermarket, a halal restaurant, a western restaurant and a great many comfortable dormitories for international students, which is an ideal place for international students with various cultural backgrounds to study and do scholarly research.

Ⅱ、Terms

1. The length of study is 1 year for language students, 4 years for undergraduate students and 2 or 3 years for postgraduate students.

2. The academic year of Henan University of Economics and Law is divided into two semesters: spring and fall. The fall semester is the beginning of a new academic year, usually from September to January of the following year, and the spring semester is usually from February to June. Every school year has two long vacations, winter vacation and summer vacation. The summer vacation usually lasts for two months. The winter holiday is short, lasting about four weeks, and is usually associated with the Chinese New Year holiday. The opening time of each semester is not fixed, depending on the date of Chinese New Year. Please refer to the school calendar for the specific opening time.

Ⅲ、Admission

In accordance with the "Health Standards for International Students" of Ministry of Education of China. Have the good moral character and discipline stipulated by the laws and regulations of the Chinese Government and the University. Good command of English or Chinese. Meet the academic requirements for admission. At least 18 years old.

Ⅳ、Program Introduction

1. Major in Chinese Language: there is no requirement for education background, and the learning period is 1 year.

2. Bachelor Degree in Finance, Bachelor Degree in Business Administration: high school diploma is required, HSK score is above level 4, teaching in Chinese, learning period is 4 years.

3. MBA teaching in Chinese: Bachelor Degree is required, with a score of 180 or above in HSK5, and the duration of study is 2 years.

4. MBA teaching in English : Bachelor Degree is required, coming from an English speaking country or with ielts 6.5 or toefl 90 or above. The duration of study is 3 years.

Ⅴ、Costs

1. Physical examination fee: RMB 400, residence permit fee: RMB 800 / year, insurance fee: RMB 800 / year, accommodation fee: RMB 1,000 / year per person (four beds).

2. The tuition fee for the major of Chinese Language is 10,000 RMB per year, the Bachelor of Finance and the Bachelor of Business Administration is 16,000 RMB per year, and the tuition fee for the MBA major is 20,000 RMB per year.

3. In order to encourage outstanding foreign students, the university provides Henan Provincial Government Scholarships and University Scholarships to outstanding international students.

Ⅵ、Visa

Students who are admitted to China must apply for a study visa to China at the Chinese embassy with the admission notice and application form for a study visa to China (JW201). You need to apply for the X1 visa. You need to go to the international student office to convert the X1 visa into a residence permit for study within 30 days after your arrival in China.

Ⅶ、Insurance

According to Ministry of Education of China, foreign students must purchase medical insurance in China. For those who do not purchase the required medical insurance, the school will not register.
